Coldstream Guards

Residents watch on, as The Coldstreams guards march through Merton village where the Guards were formed by General George Monck 1608/1670 who was born at Great Potheridge near the village.Exercising their right of the freedom of Merton to the square.
10th May, Wet and windy day so off to Green Lanes at Barnstaple, undercover shopping and lunch,and ice cream.
4th May,Spending the day at Trago Mills South Devon and lunch, drive back over the moors.
19th April, Shopping in the market town of Tavistock
11th April, Residents enjoying lunch at Strawberry-fields Lifton.
6th April,Otter Nursery shopping and lunch.
